Scare to Care

For the 2016 haunt, we'll working again with the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry.

The Haymarket Regional Food Pantry is an ecumenical and community based ministry comprised entirely of volunteers dedicated to eliminating hunger by providing food to individuals and families in Haymarket, Gainesville and the surrounding areas.

We will be collecting donations on the dates the haunt is open (Oct 22, 28,29, 30, 31) If you would like to give but cannot bring your items during those times, please contact us at hauntedlauriannewoods@gmail.com to schedule a drop off time.

When donating items to the food pantry, please check the expiration dates, and donate unopened items in their original packaging. Open or unlabeled items cannot be distributed, and will be discarded.

The following are acceptable items for donatation:

– Cereal and Oatmeal

– Soup

– Pancake Mix and Syrup

– Stuffing and Rice

– Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

– Crackers

– Canned Fruit

– Spaghetti Sauce or Canned Tomatoes

– Pasta

– Macaroni & Cheese

– Beans

– Canned Meat

– Luncheon (e.g. Spaghetti O’s, Ramen Noodles)

– Canned Tuna or Chicken

– Condiments

– Salad Dressing

– Desserts

– Baby Diapers

– Baby Food

– Baby Forumula

– Toilet Paper

– Soap

– Shampoo

– Toothpaste

– Hygiene Products

– Coffee & Tea
